West Orange has not had a town-wide tax revaluation in almost 30 years. Homeowners received notice in May that "West Orange must revalue all real estate for the 2011 Tax Year. For the first time in a couple of months we had less than 30 homes go under contract in the 8 northern New Jersey towns. This could be a leftover from the July 4th weekend, since many had Monday off and slowly came back on Tuesday. The good thing is simultaneously all towns had a slight decrease in the number of homes on the market. We'll have to see what the following week does to see if...[
